ECOTIP #25: Avoid printing things out. If you need directions, jot them out on an old receipt or envelope. You can also reuse paper that's only been printed on one side.
Feature Product: DoGreen! Homemade Cleaning Supplies
Our homemade cleaners are not only safe, non-toxic, and simple to use, but you can make them yourself with some common household ingredients.
What's that you say? I can make it at home myself?!? Then what do I need to buy it for?
The biggest obstacle we've encountered in going green is not gathering the information - the knowledge is all around us, in books, television, magazines, and in a-million-and-one places on the internet. The biggest obstacle to going green is us. We are all limited by time, energy, and commitment. The hardest part is not doing the work, it's starting. Once we've integrated it into our regular routine, using green cleaning products we make ourselves is just as easy as using toxic synthetics.
So buy the bottle and get going. It's the easiest first step to using environmentally safe products. Ultimately, it's also the cheapest.
We carry an All-Purpose Cleaner and Furniture Polish. Both products available in the following scents: Lavender, Peppermint, Tea Tree, Lemon, or unscented.
